Stained glass pieces can last for generations, but over time they may develop cracks, loose sections, or worn leading.
When damage is minor to moderate, repairing the existing piece is often a better option than replacing it entirely.
Repairs may include replacing cracked glass pieces, reinforcing or re-leading sections, and repairing copper foil work while preserving the original design whenever possible.
In some situations, repairs can even be completed in place, depending on the condition of the piece and whether the work can be performed safely while the glass remains upright.
Each project is unique, so we’ll begin with a careful evaluation of the piece to determine the best restoration approach and whether the repair is practical.
